Adventureland only has one restaurant - thank heavens it's the Bengal Barbecue! This tasty skewer destination has been pleasing guests for many years, and thanks to a recent change in the layout of Adventureland there's actually room for all the happy guests wanting to savour something (slightly) exotic!

Until earlier this year, the Bengal Barbecue was known for being in the worst spot imaginable. The line would stretch out into foot traffic and block everyone and there was never anywhere to sit! Now they have a new designated seating area with plenty of tables in the shade and the line can wrap around into the building and be less obtrusive. While eating you still feel like you're somewhere in the wilds of Africa or the Amazon enjoying a brief snack before you continue your excursion.
Food Quality: 4 Stars
The food is amazing! They primarily serve beef, chicken and vegetable skewers but lately have expanded their menu. You still have the classic offerings, including Tiger Tail breadsticks, but you can now also get a sampling of pita with hummus, spring rolls, or a platter of skewers with rice and slaw. Be careful, though, because some items can get a little spicy so if that's not your thing make sure you take a close look at the menu before ordering!

One major drawback of the Bengal Barbecue is that it can be a little pricey. $5 can get you a single skewer with four pieces of meat on it and to make it feel like a meal you need to add a Tiger Tail for $4. The rice plate, which by itself is a full meal, costs $16. That's a lot of money if you're trying to feed more than just yourself. The food is really good, but I would generally recommend only eating here if you're not starving. It's the perfect sized portion for a snack. We often will get one skewer for each of us and split a breadstick and call that good so we don't spend a lot of money and still feel like we've had a meal. I still highly recommend eating here, just be careful of the prices!
