Overall Rating: 3 StarsFollow the sound of ships at Black Spire Outpost to find Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo - the single largest restaurant on Batuu. Serving all three meals daily, they offer intergalactic twists on classic dishes that the whole family will enjoy. If you're planning on visiting Galaxy's Edge you may as well plan on stopping by here before you leave and you won't regret it! |
Atmosphere: 4 Stars
As with the rest of Galaxy's Edge, no detail was overlooked when they built Docking Bay 7. It feels like you're stepping into a rest stop on your way across the galaxy to get something to eat. It's kind of fun how even the tables and chairs are not consistent from one part of the restaurant to another so depending where you eat you will have a completely different view. Keep an eye out for easter eggs paying tribute to the Star Wars original trilogy!
Food Quality: 3 Stars
The food may sound weird, but make sure to read the descriptions because almost every one of them is really a pretty standard meal prepared in a different way. For example, the Endorian Tip-yip is just pan-fried chicken with a new way. Overall the food is really tasty and well-made. The desserts are amazing as well (as they better be since it's really the only place that serves desserts in all of Galaxy's Edge) so taste wise you won't be disappointed. |
My only complaint is how they plate every dish. Some meals are arranged so they look super appealing but they can be difficult to eat. When I had the Kaduu Ribs (pork ribs) the plate was picture perfect but the ribs themselves took up almost the entire dish and I had a hard time maneuvering everything so I could eat it all. Some dishes do not have this problem, but it can be frustrating enough as it is.

Docking Bay 7 is one of the more expensive quick-service restaurants in Disneyland Park, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily out of everyone's price range. Adult meals range from $13-$17 at lunch and dinner with kids' meals between $9-$13. The portion sizes are decent and, if you're not the most hungry person, you could still split an entree with someone else. Ultimately they serve food that appeals to all types of eaters and your family will surely find something they'll love. I do suggest checking them out on your next trip, just don't be shocked by the prices when you step inside.
