Announced yesterday at the D23 Expo, Pixar will soon have a much larger presence at the Disneyland Resort ranging from new spectaculars in Disneyland Park to new attractions and a "new" land at Disney California Adventure.  The news is good for all, for the most part, but there are some massive changes in the works happening in a very short period of time.  Here's the latest updates on the new announcements.

If you're staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel this Easter season then there's more magic coming your way for the holiday than normal.  There are plenty of activities, food and fun for everyone in the family to have a memorable Easter during your stay at the Happiest Place on Earth!  Obviously, though, there's still the Egg-stravaganza inside the parks.

If your family enjoys Disney Junior then there's exciting news coming from Disney California Adventure.  This May the long-running "Disney Junior - Live on Stage" show will be getting its first major overhaul since its opening to feature a brand new show experience.  This show has been a favourite for younger visitors and has had many minor updates over the years but this is the first time they've announced a change in format large enough to change the guest experience altogether.

We're talking Beauty & the Beast here!  To celebrate the upcoming release of the live-action film, Disneyland is celebrating with new limited-time experiences in Fantasyland.  You may have heard a little about them about a week ago, but now they've officially announced opening dates for some of the experiences - and they're coming up quick!

Disney has finally announced the official opening date for the hastily conceived and constructed Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT at Disney California Adventure, but it's not coming alone.  Hollywood Land will play host to a summer's worth of Marvel entertainment and experiences designed for all ages, some of which may even be continuing after the summer is over.

This February, an old favourite fireworks show will return to Disneyland (comebacks being quite a theme for 2017).  Many are probably very familiar with it, but Remember . . . Dreams Come True was developed for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary celebration back in 2005 and lasted all the way until the Diamond Celebration in 2015.

Lunar New Year, more commonly known as Chinese New Year, has been celebrated annually at Disney California Adventure for quite some time now, but this year they're taking the celebration up a few notches.  2017's Lunar New Year at DCA will be bigger, better and longer than ever before bringing much needed festivities to the off-season at the Disneyland Resort.
