The holiday season is going strong and is only going to get bigger as December rolls out in Downtown Disney. Decorations are everywhere, festive souvenirs line every window, new entertainment is springing up and soon even more magic will be available at select restaurants and retail spots throughout the shopping district. They will only be available for a limited time so if your travels take you to California at the right time make sure you don't miss them!

Details of the 2017 holiday season at the Disneyland Resort have been scarce at best, but it's only a few weeks away so here is what we know is returning this year. We also now know we will be losing a fan favourite, possibly permanently, but there's also a change coming to Fantasyland that could mean year-round changes for a classic attraction! Halloween Time is literally just about to start at Disneyland for another frightfully fun year and we now know all the great seasonal treats and dishes coming to the Disneyland Resort for the season. There are many favourites returning, but there are a ton of brand new surprises in store plus some unexpected changes for some fan favourite goodies. As Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort looms ever closer, Disney is hard at work getting their final plans ready and are already working on a couple of fan-favourite attractions: Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy and Haunted Mansion Holiday.  With only a couple of weeks until the spooky festivities commence, Disneyland has announced one last attraction overlay in California Adventure that will most likely be a hit.

For the first time in forever, Halloween Time fun is spilling over from Disneyland Park into California Adventure.  From new Halloween attractions overlays to chillingly cool decor, new festivities are popping up that are sure to become crowd favourites.  The best part is that these additions are not very far away so if your plans are bringing you to the Disneyland Resort this autumn then you have a lot to look forward to!

Lunar New Year, more commonly known as Chinese New Year, has been celebrated annually at Disney California Adventure for quite some time now, but this year they're taking the celebration up a few notches.  2017's Lunar New Year at DCA will be bigger, better and longer than ever before bringing much needed festivities to the off-season at the Disneyland Resort.

It's officially that time of year at Disneyland and not only does that mean festive decorations, seasonal shows and millions of dazzling lights all over the parks but it also means fantastic holiday food!  Disneyland has finally released everything guests can find all over the Disneyland Resort this holiday season from cookies and rice krispie treats to cheesecakes and savoury food, too!
