Disney Parks announced that for a limited time, beginning 6 August, live bands will once again perform on the Tomorrowland Stage on select nights.  Live music has not been heard on the Tomorrowland Stage since last summer when Disneyland began preparations for "Season of the Force" and intended to use the stage for more things besides the Jedi Training Academy.
Disneyland has traditionally featured live music in Tomorrowland since the late '60s when the Tomorrowland Stage at the Tomorrowland Terrace first opened.  It's seen short periods of inactivity but locals particularly enjoy the lively atmosphere and entertainment, especially since Disneyland always chooses local talent to perform.  The tradition has also extended into Downtown Disney near the ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe.

Live music will be returning on weekends, Fridays through Sundays, but there is no indication yet when they might discontinue again.
