 | This February, Disney California Adventure will once again host the Happy Lunar New Year Celebration and ring in the Year of the Monkey while celebrating Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures through interactive experiences, entertainment and, of course, food! |
Festivities run 5 - 8 February 2016 at the Paradise Gardens in DCA, next to Goofy's Sky School and in front of Paradise Pizza and Pasta. Special character meet-and-greets will include Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale, Mushu and Mulan (not really sure how Chip & Dale fit into this, but we're going with it).
Special merchandise and reportedly authentic food options will be available each day. Guests will also get to experience live performers, musicians and some local craftsmen and artisans sharing their talents and exposing them to Asian culture as well as local community performance groups.
The celebration is short-lived, but if you're travelling during that time anyway, make sure you make time in your plans to visit Paradise Gardens and enjoy what there is to offer. The festival runs each day from 11a - 5p.
