Overall Rating: 3 StarsSpecifically for Mickey's Halloween Party, the "Frightfully Fun Parade" is a much anticipated and much needed addition to the festivities! This parade is a great mixture of classic Disney parks influences and timeless Disney villains so even if you're not super familiar with Disneyland you'll be blown away by what they can do in a short period of time. Atmosphere: 2 Stars
There's nothing extra-special along the parade route for Mickey's Halloween Party (if anything, the giant Mickey "ghosts" distract from the ambience), but the parade is preceded by the (new & improved) Ride of the Headless Horseman which helps get you in the mood.
Entertainment Quality: 4 Stars
The floats are amazing to look at! There are some from The Nightmare Before Christmas, others representing the Haunted Mansion and a final row filled with classic villains such as Dr. Facilier, Hades, Maleficent, Jafar and even Gaston! The dancers, though! It's so much fun to watch the ballroom guests from the HM dance along but then when the caretaker's group follows behind their choreography with shovels fits the season so well (sparks!).
This year Mickey and Minnie even head the parade decked out in their Halloween finest so guests young and old can have some fun!

Time Commitment: 3 Stars
It's kind of a short parade. From start to finish it lasts less than ten minutes and you still have to wait a while to make sure you get a good seat (maybe 20-30 minutes). However, it's worth it! It's a good sign when a show leaves you wanting more! If you don't want to wait that long to watch such a short show, catch the second parade of the evening and there won't be anywhere near the crowds. The upside to catching the first parade is that Halloween Screams starts just a few minutes after the parade is over so you'll already have a great spot to watch the fireworks. Make some time for the "Frightfully Fun Parade" - it's awesome! And this is coming from someone who doesn't love Halloween!
