We're talking Beauty & the Beast here! To celebrate the upcoming release of the live-action film, Disneyland is celebrating with new limited-time experiences in Fantasyland. You may have heard a little about them about a week ago, but now they've officially announced opening dates for some of the experiences - and they're coming up quick! |
The biggest addition will be the opening of the new Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. It's meant to be a French-style tavern which will be temporarily occupying the space currently held by the Village Haus Restaurant. The Pinocchio theming is making way for decor inspired by the new film and the menu is getting a complete overhaul. This includes all new burgers, salads, drinks and even a dessert called Grey Stuff Gateau - a white chocolate mousse with red velvet cake and raspberry filling. Sounds delicious! You can find the complete menu here. The Red Rose Taverne is set to open on 24 February 2017.
In addition to food, some temporary shops will be located next to the Red Rose Taverne featuring specialty merchandise from Beauty & the Beast and you can find Gaston wandering through Fantasyland, as always, looking for anyone who loves him as much as he does!
At the Fantasy Faire next to the castle Maurice's Treats (you know Maurice - Belle's father) will now feature dipping sauces for their twists including a grey stuff flavour. The Royal Theater will also be showcasing their take on the classic story daily.
Official details on many of these experiences, including opening or closing dates, have not yet been announced, but you can expect them to start shortly as the film's release looms closer and closer. This is the most Beauty & the Beast Disneyland Park has ever seen so make sure you take advantage of it if you're traveling soon!
