Hop on by the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country for some down-home inspired food in a fun and woodsy environment. The banks of the Rivers of America is a great place to enjoy a burger, salad, or some of their fantastic desserts - then afterwards you can hop on Splash Mountain!

Atmosphere: 4 Stars
The whole place fits the woodlands feel of Critter Country perfectly and has a lot of throwbacks to the older attractions in Critter Country and even Bear Country. You also get great views of the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Sailing Ship Columbia and Mark Twain Riverboat. It's also nice that there is ample seating available on both levels of the restaurant with plenty of shade.
Food Quality: 3 Stars
What really makes the food good here is that it's very unique. It's not everywhere you can find an affordable salad or delicious coleslaw but the desserts are great! You can often find several flavours of funnel cake and other great seasonal treats. Plus fans of onion rings will actually be able to find some and satisfy their craving!
Value: 3 Stars
None of the meals are more than $12 so you don't have to feel like you're breaking the bank. There are more affordable options around, certainly, but this is a great option you will not regret!
