Overall Rating: 3 StarsThe PCH Grill is the main dining option in the Paradise Pier Hotel. It is a great place for lots of food at breakfast or dinner since it is a buffet. Even if you aren't staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel, make a trip over to the great food here (if you like buffets, that is). |
Atmosphere: 2 Stars
The decor in the PCH Grill screams Chuck-e-Cheese's and the 1990s. But if you go for breakfast, it is a character dining opportunity. In fact, it is one of the only options to meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland, especially if you don't want to wait in a long line at a character greeting spot. The room is not too large, but it does accommodate groups of all sizes, large to small.
Food: 3 Stars
Although we only ate dinner here, we really enjoyed the variety and the taste. It definitely fit with the theme of Paradise Pier since there was a lot of seafood, but for those of you who don't like fish there are plenty of other options. One word: ribs!
The dinner buffet does have a great dessert bar (complete with homemade marshmallows at the s'mores station), and be sure to look around all of the areas of the dessert bar because there were some treats that looked more like decorations but were definitely edible!

Value: 3 Stars
The price is comparable to any other buffet meal on Disneyland property. But if you want to get a large bang for your buck and want to do one buffet that combines two meals in one as a brunch or "lunner," it may make it very much worth your while! Check out the very well prepared food at this out-of-the way gem.
