Atmosphere: 4 Stars
Steakhouse 55 with its lounge screams a low-light, romantic evening, at a luxurious comforting quiet. If you have about two hours set aside for an amazing evening in this gorgeous setting, this is the restaurant for you! Reservations are a necessity, but black ties and ball gowns aren't.
Food: 4 Stars
Since it is a steakhouse, there is a wide variety of beef options that will surely not disappoint, from prime rib to filet mignon. Other decadent options include lobster tail, French onion soup, and lamb chops. Sides cost extra, but are amazing additions and large enough to share. Some of the best are the truffle mac and cheese and the risotto. If all you can afford is dessert, I have a few important words for you: 24-layer chocolate cake. Yes it is as amazing as it sounds!
Value: 3 Stars
At least Steakhouse 55 does not hide the fact that it is expensive. If you can afford the food every meal, go for it because you will not be disappointed. If you can only afford it once in your life, the food is still amazing and I feel worth most of what you pay for.
