Atmosphere: 4 Stars
Similar to any other fireworks show at Disneyland, Main Street, USA can get a little packed - but you have options. Fireworks and projections can always also be viewed along the Rivers of America in New Orleans Square and in front of "it's a small world".
That said, you definitely want to try and be on Main Street for this one. There are added projections on a "moon" next to the castle which you can only see there. It's worth it, though, because Main Street is already decked out for Halloween anyway with the Jack-O-Lantern Festival over every eave. It can be slightly crowded, but the further back you go the more room you'll find. Trust me, viewing directly in front of the castle isn't the most important thing in the world.

Entertainment Quality: 3 Stars
Before I first saw this show I was curious how they would be able to fill a full-time fireworks show with nothing but Halloween music (I'm a music person, so I can tell you how little exists from that small genre). But after watching it I feel almost like they could have gone longer! All your favorite music from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Haunted Mansion, Hocus Pocus and more shine in the sky and summon some festive spirits!
I'm sensitive to the fact that there may be some non-fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas who are skeptical of a show hosted by Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie to be entertaining. Just take my word for it: it's worth it! You'll definitely find something to enjoy and, personally, I think Jack makes the perfect host for the evening.

Time Commitment: 4 Stars
First off: all fireworks shows are longer than you think. Disneyland Forever was nearly 20 minutes and before that Remember . . . Dreams Come True was over 15. With that said, Halloween Screams is around 15 minutes long so it's an average length show and it's totally worth it. This is the only time of year that this show is performed so take advantage of it and don't miss out!
