Inside the iconic Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland, aside from great desserts, you can take a seat and enjoy the antics of the mayor of Frontierland and some of the locals as they try to put together a great show for you!  The show is not too long, but you will enjoy this little diversion in the middle of your day which can be different each time!

Atmosphere: 4 Stars

The Golden Horseshoe has been an icon of Frontierland since opening day for a reason: it's beautiful inside and the cozy theatre setting is not just a cool place to watch a show (figuratively & literally) but it really brings you back to the old west.  I've even been known to just go and sit inside when there isn't even a show!

Entertainment Quality: 3 Stars

Is the show cheesy?  Absolutely.  Is it super corny?  You bet.  Is it a little predictable?  A bit.  Is it funny?  Yep!  Somehow the actors still are able to get you to laugh at even the stupidest joke or pun.  Plus you may be asked to join the cast if you sit on the ground level near the stage!

The shows can change, too.  Sometimes you'll see the mayor trying to set the sheriff up with his daughter and others you'll find the mayor, the sheriff and the owner of the Golden Horseshoe putting on a musical to celebrate their city.  Just because you've seen it once doesn't mean you won't see something new.

Time Commitment: 3 Stars

Shows last about 15 minutes.  If you want a good seat during meal times you'll want to be earlier than that and if you ever want to eat or snack while watching the show you need to be early, but if you just want to see the show and you're past the lunch rush then you can walk in just a couple of minutes before curtain.  When you hear the piano starting then you know the show is about to begin!
