Location: 1 Star
The major downside to staying here is that it is so far from the parks. It is about a 3 mile walk, which is definitely doable, but it takes about 45 minutes. There is a shuttle for a small fee (I think I paid about $5), but it doesn't operate very regularly. The hotel is also near the 5 Interstate, so it is slightly loud outside, though the room was quiet.
Accommodations: 3 Stars
The building is fairly new, and there was a good variety available for different travel sizes, from large rooms with king size beds to rooms with multiple beds. The room that I had was very clean and well kept. Everything worked well and looked nice.
Amenities: 2 Stars
There is a pool on-site. Parking is free which is very helpful when everything in California is there lurking to steal money from your wallet. I don't think there was a continental breakfast which was kind of a bummer, but still the other amenities and the price were nice.
Value: 2 Stars
The price is quite right, especially knowing that it is so far from the park. If you are trying to save money but still not stay in a cardboard box, this hotel is just right for you. I think I ended up paying around $120 a night from Priceline, but looking on their website the rates are still reasonable at around $180 a night.
