Overall Rating: 2 Stars
The Golden Horseshoe is an icon of not only Frontierland but Disneyland as a whole. It's been around since opening day and consistently played host to great (though short) comedic shows. You can always tell when it's mealtime around this end of the park because the lines start forming inside and often stretch out the door, but maybe it's not the most worthwhile line to wait in.

Atmosphere: 4 Stars
Few restaurants in Disneyland have as immersive an experience as the Golden Horseshoe. As soon as you step inside you feel like you're in a saloon in the Old West. There's always a ton of hustle and bustle throughout and you can sit on the ground floor, on the balcony, or, if you're lucky, in one of the box seats near the stage. Speaking of the stage, the best time to eat here is when there's a show going on, like The Laughing Stock Co. for example, which are always interactive and draw guests out of the audience. It's so much fun in there!
Food Quality: 2 Stars
As amazing as the atmosphere is, the food is nothing particularly great. They have a limited menu which mainly consists of chicken nuggets, fish & chips, generic chili, and fries. The food tastes good but it's nothing special you can't find many other places. The most worthwhile items on the menu are the sundaes which are decent and perfect for splitting. I'll admit that most of the time we end up getting food from somewhere else and bring it inside to watch the show only occasionally getting some ice cream.
Value: 2 Stars
The prices are actually reasonable and not a big problem, but for the same price you can get better or more unique meals at another restaurant that will be more memorable. The tendency for long lines also makes the Golden Horseshoe feel like the food isn't worth such a wait, but it's a tasty option if you're in a pinch and just want something simple and tasty.
