Contrary to popular belief, the whole resort is not teeming with princesses just looking for children to hug. This month marks Disney California Adventure's 16th anniversary.  It's hard to believe anymore that it used to just be a parking lot because now it's a beloved addition to the ever-growing Disneyland Resort.  To commemorate this momentous occasion here are, in my opinion, the top 5 experiences you simply have to do the next time you're in DCA.  But of course you can't really talk about DCA without bringing up a bit of its coloured past...

No, Disneyland is not just for kids!  But yes, Disneyland is for kids . . .  Let me explain: Disneyland is meant for all ages but one of the best parts about it is that you can feel free to let your inner child out no matter how old you are.  There are certain things you can only do or truly appreciate when you're older, but one of my favourite parts of any Disneyland trip is being able to do things that make me feel like a kid!  They're not embarrassing and they're super fun so go ahead and give them a try next time you're there!
